拡張子「.torrent」 - トレント（File Extension .torrent）

Bram Cohen（ブラム・コーエン）氏が開発したP2Pクライアントソフト「BitTorrent」で共有の際に使われている特殊ファイル形式。

本来のファイルはこの「.torrent」形式のファイルから生成される。「.torrent」形式のファイルは、「BitTorrent」や「BitComet」で本来のファイル形式に変換する。
